Salman Khan’s “Kick” is yet to reach theatres, but it has already aroused enthusiasm among his fans.
Reports show that the film which has breath-taking action scenes may set a record for the longest chase sequence in Bollywood. A scene in the film, shot in the extremely busy streets and lanes of Delhi, is expected to break the official record of Shah Rukh Khan’s 1993 thriller “Darr,” which has been holding the credit till the date, Glamsham reported.
The Sajid Nadiadwala film also includes some mind-blowing chase scenes by Salman on different vehicles, including a bicycle, a modified bike and a double-decker bus.
The official trailer of “Kick” that shows the actor jumping off from the 40th floor of a building, crashing through the window and crossing the railway track, seconds before the train arrives, are only some stunning shots from the constant visual feast, sure to invite excitement in viewers, India Today reported.
While the film is getting ready to make an entry into the Limca Book of Records, the 48-year-old actor’s “Kick” heroine Jacqueline Fernandez could not stop talking about her co-star.
“The movie is on Salman’s shoulders. He is the main lead of this film, people come to see Salman Khan at the end of the day, and for me to be part of it, is a very big deal,” Jacqueline told Indo-Asian News Service. “Even if Salman is overpowering you (an artist), it’s fine. He is a superstar, he is a very strong person. That’s nothing to worry about. For any actor, it only does good,” she added.
“Kick” also stars Randeep Hooda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mithun Chakraborty. The screenplay is written by Nadiadwala and Chetan Bhagat. “Kick” will be released on 25 July.
